Resources

SESAR² provides services for Researchers, Institutions, and Developers for the registration and unique identification of samples. It operates a global metadata catalog for Earth samples and specimens, the SESAR² Metadata Catalog, that ensures preservation and access of sample metadata to allow proper citation of samples in publications and digital data systems. Below are links to resources that provide researchers, institutions and developers with best practices for using SESAR².

Follow these links to find out more about SESAR²’s services or how to register samples with SESAR².

SESAR will be unavailable from September 21-23 as we migrate to our new system. During this window, sample registration, search, and related services will be offline. Please see our newsletter for more information. For any questions or concerns, please email us at info@geosamples.org
